  • Fresh mushrooms (cremini or shiitake)
  • Halal chicken broth
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Butter

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: Chop onions and garlic, slice mushrooms, and measure rice and broth.
  2. Sauté aromatics: In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter. Add onions and garlic; cook until translucent (3-4 minutes).
  3. Add mushrooms and rice: Stir in sliced mushrooms and Arborio rice; cook until rice edges are translucent (2-3 minutes).
  4. Gradually add broth: Pour in hot halal chicken broth one cup at a time, stirring until absorbed. Repeat until rice is al dente (18-20 minutes).
