Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 100g dark chocolate (chopped or chocolate chips)
  • 50g unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to approximately 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Cut the pastry into triangles. Place chopped chocolate at the base of each triangle.
  4. Roll each triangle tightly from the base to the tip, forming a crescent shape; pinch edges to seal.
  5. Beat the egg with a splash of water and brush over each croissant for a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
