Description

Beef Stir Fry with Vegetables is a quick and colorful dish that brings tender halal beef and fresh veggies together for a delicious meal ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb halal flank or sirloin beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (mixed colors)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the halal beef against the grain into thin strips. Prepare all vegetables by cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced beef in batches to avoid overcrowding and sear until browned on both sides (about 3-4 minutes). Remove from the pan.
  4. In the same pan, sauté minced garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then add bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots. Cook until vibrant yet tender-crisp.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the pan, add soy sauce, and toss everything together until well combined.
  6. Serve hot with an optional sprinkle of sesame seeds.
