Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb halal flank or sirloin beef, thinly sliced
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (mixed colors)
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the halal beef against the grain into thin strips. Prepare all vegetables by cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced beef in batches to avoid overcrowding and sear until browned on both sides (about 3-4 minutes). Remove from the pan.
- In the same pan, sauté minced garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then add bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots. Cook until vibrant yet tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked beef to the pan, add soy sauce, and toss everything together until well combined.
- Serve hot with an optional sprinkle of sesame seeds.
